This site is a curation of all the various things that capture my attention, projects that I’m working on, and general commentary on life - a digital cabinet of curiosities of sorts.

I mostly use this site to post notes and ideas about things I’m researching at any given time. It’s kind of like working with the garage door up so that anyone passing by can stop in and see what’s going on. No set posting schedule. No set theme or topic. Just me working through my thoughts and recording things here to serve as a library of things I discover along the way.

Current Focus

I’ve had a lot of interests over the years and I’m sure there will be more along the way. But right now I am diving deep into Biblical studies and doing what I can to pass down one man’s witness to the Christian life. A Pilgrimage Through Grace is my newsletter where I publish the results of my studies in a structured way.

I’ve also created a Resources page where I am slowly curating various tools and content that might be helpful to others onto one page.

Bamboo Rodmaking

Several years ago, I waded into the wonderful world of bamboo fly rod making. What started off as a simple hobby has turned into a fun little company called Scissortail Rod Company.
